TinyTM - How to participate?
The TinyTM project needs your help. Building a solid, reliable and powerful application requires a lot of
resources. Here is how you could help:
Developers
- Let us know about your existence!
Please create a SourceForge
account, go to the SourceForge
Developer forum and post a short message including your name, affiliation,
skills (VBA, Web development, SQL, ...) and the number of hours per week
that you are willing to dedicate to TinyTM.
- Answer Support Queries
Once you have a certain experience with the installation and the use of
TinyTM, please help newbees to go forward. So please subscribe to the
mailing list and watch the forum. Also, you can use SourceForge to offer
commercial support for TinyTM. Your potential customers will judge you
based on the "strength of your voice" in the forum...
- Work on the Client
The first MS-Word macro "client" is not a particular beautiful or usable
piece of software. So please think about more fancy clients with improved
usability, segmentation rules, or graphical improvements including "skins".
We will list all working clients on the TinyTM web site including your
name and link to your company (if desired).
- Work on the Server
The first TinyTM "server" is restricted to the PostgreSQL database and
not particularly fast. You could port the available code to other databases
(for example mySQL and Oracle) and improve the underlying algorithms and
indexing schemes. Again, we will list all working servers on the TinyTM
web site including your name and link to your company (if desired).

- Donate!
We need donations in order to cover administrative, marketing and development
costs. Please send small amounts directly via PayPal to tinytm@project-open.com.
Depending on the scope of TinyTM, we might need to employ full-time developers
in the future. To support (and influence!) these efforts please contact
Frank Bergmann (firstname.lastname@project-open.com).
Please see the Sponsors page
for details.
